Teddy Sheringham

Teddy Sheringham is one of the biggest names in the football world. He has been there done that and got the t-shirt! Teddy started his career with Millwall and made his debut against AFC Bournemouth in January 1984. A Few years later Teddy moved to Nottingham Forest for £2 million. He never really settled in at the City Ground and moved to Tottenham Hotspurs where the goals really did start rolling in!  At the end of the 1992/93 season Teddy scored 29 goals and won the 'Golden Boot Award'. He formed an amazing striking partnership with German striker Jurgen Klinsmann at Spurs. Also at International level Teddy formed an great partnership with Alan Shearer. After Tottenham, Teddy became the hot property of Manchester United where he scored maybe the most important goal in his career. He scored the goal in extra time that secured the Champions League Title. After winning many trophies at Manchester Teddy moved back to Tottenham and spent the best part of 2 seasons at the Lane. In 80 games Teddy scored 26 goals and was then released by Spurs at the end of the 2002/03 season and Harry Redknapp came calling and Teddy joined Portsmouth to become maybe the biggest signing in Pompey history!
