I have had seen Eddie that much this season only on his debut against Preston North End at Deepdale but what I have seen he seems to be a strong defender with good tackling skills and also some good pace. Eddie is or was a England Under 21 player and may go far with his career. Eddie went through the playing ranks at Bournemouth (youth team and resevres). I believe next season we will see a great lot more from Eddie Howe with his cool hair cut. I like Eddie as I only saw 45 minutes at Deepdale I can't really judge Eddie but has evidence of a great season in defence next season for Pompey. Harry Redknapp is a great fan of Eddie and I trust Harry in his choice. Eddie your a good player!
