On Saturday 2nd. February 2002 I made the short journey down to my much beloved Pompey to see the game against Barnsley but i never throught I would travel back home from experiancing a 8 goal classic at Fratton Park. Not only was it the most exciting i have seen Pompey for a long while but seeing Robbie Prosinecki score his first hat trick for the club made me feel glad to be apart of Pompey. Seeing Robbie kiss that Royal blue shirt made me go all happy inside! I believe Robbie will be at Pompey for along time when i saw him kiss that Royal shirt. Robbie has been on HOT form this so far this season but I have never seen better goals than he has scored so far this season. He has scored twice from three kicks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest. The Forest three kicks was a 26 yarder and it was GREAT! But the best goal I have seen was the goal against Wolverhampton! Prosi ran from the halfway line and got pass all the defenders what was quite impressive itself but still ran towards the goal and thumped the ball home from the edge of the area! Also the hat trick against Barnsley was also something special!!
